Wonderful antique scrimshaw pie crimper or "jagging wheel".

Wonderful scrimshaw whale ivory pie crimper with carved eagle head. The shaped handle is of unusual construction with three laminated pieces of whale ivory which are pinned with silver. American, ca. mid 19th C. Found in Provincetown, Ma. Great patina and very good condition with a small chip to the wheel and a minor crack in the handle. 8 3/8 in. long
